MYC is coming up
Mid Year Conference (MYC) is the annual conference for all the Christian Unions from Perth Unis. It's a 5 day, live in conference where you can get to know other uni students, learn from god's word and have fun! The theme this year is Heavenly Bodies: the hope of the ressurection. Grab a brochure at the main meeting and come along.
Free Chocolate Bar competition!
If you read this website and you like chocolate, then I have some good news for you: If you email me at patuli01@student.uwa.edu.au with the subject line "I'm one of the 5 people who read the website" then I'll give you a chocolate bar of your choice at the public meeting. There are naturally Five Four Three Two One Zero chocolate bars up for grabs, so you all get one nobody gets one.
Great News, Everyone.
Something amazing has happened: You can now see little pictures of our elected Comittee members. First years must remember these people and be sure to intrude upon their time and personal space. Also of note, at this stage any "Information" in their bios is likely to be false and/or defamatory.
A New Year In The Making
Hey everyone and welcome back for another year of CU. We especially welcome all our new first years and anyone who's never been to UWA Christian Union before. Keep an eye on this page as we plan to update it with small group details and talks in the near future, as well as removing all those pictures of Bob Hawke in the Committee Section.
Talk Downloads
If you miss any of our public meeting talks, you can download them from the talks section. They are available as MP3 and podcast.
Welcome to the UWA Christian Union
We're an active Guild-affiliated club of Christian students on campus that get together to read the Bible, encourage each other and talk to others about Jesus.
We're from all kinds of backgrounds and nationalities, so feel free to come and visit, no matter where you're from.
To find out more about CU, have a look at what's on, or contact someone for more information.
If you're wondering what this whole Christian thing is about, you might want to check out something like Two Ways to Live.
If you want to know more, please contact someone from CU. They'll be happy to sit and chat about any questions or issues you have, and they're nice, too!
